What is Umami?
Umami is a lightweight, open-source web analytics platform - a privacy-first alternative to Google Analytics. It gives you the numbers most sites actually need - pageviews, unique visitors, referrers, top pages, countries, devices, and UTM campaigns - in a single clean dashboard, without cookies and without collecting personal data.
Because Umami is cookieless and GDPR/CCPA-friendly by design, you can drop the consent banner. The tracker is about 2KB, all your data lives in a Postgres database on your own pod, and a full REST API lets agents and dashboards pull stats programmatically. It's a great fit for indie developers, agencies, and teams who want real analytics without handing visitor data to a third party.
