InstaPods pricing

Usage-based hosting is cheap until the month your app gets traffic. InstaPods pricing is one flat price per server, from $3/mo. The plan you pick is the bill you get: no per-request fees, no bandwidth charges, no separate database invoice.

TL;DR: 5 plans from $3 to $49 a month. Every plan is a real Linux server with SSH, SSL and daily backups. PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis are included from the $7 Build plan. You pay by the day, get one invoice a month, and start with a $10 credit when you add a card.

How billing works

You pay by the day

Each pod costs its plan price divided across the days in the month. Run a pod for a week, pay for a week. One invoice a month covers all your pods.

Delete to stop billing

A stopped pod still keeps its disk, so it still bills. Deleting a pod stops the charge, and you pay up to the day you deleted it.

Change plans any time

Resize a pod up or down from the dashboard. The month is split at the change and each part is billed at its own rate.

$10 to start

Add a card and you get a one-time $10 credit, about 3 months on Launch. Credit is used before your card is charged.

7-day refund

Not working out? Email support@instapods.com within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund.

No surprise lines

No bandwidth, request, seat or database line items. Read why we don't charge for bandwidth.

Which plan does my 1-Click app need?

Every 1-Click app has a minimum plan, set by what it actually needs to run well. You can always pick a bigger plan.

Pricing FAQ

How much does InstaPods cost?

InstaPods has five flat monthly plans: Launch $3, Build $7, Grow $15, Scale $25 and Turbo $49. Each plan is a real server with a fixed amount of CPU, RAM and disk. There are no per-request, per-seat or bandwidth charges on top.

Is there a free plan or free trial?

There is no ongoing free plan. Every new account gets a one-time $10 credit when you add a payment method, which covers about 3 months on the $3/mo Launch plan before you pay anything. A card is required to deploy.

How does billing work?

Each pod is billed by the day at its plan rate, and you get one invoice per month for all your pods. Any credit on your account is applied first, then the rest is charged to your saved card. A pod that runs for 10 days of a 30-day month costs a third of its monthly price.

Am I charged for a stopped pod?

Yes. A stopped pod still holds its disk and its place on the server, so it keeps billing at its plan rate. Deleting the pod is what stops billing, and you are charged up to the day you delete it.

Are databases extra?

No. On Build ($7/mo) and above you can add PostgreSQL, MySQL or Redis with one command. The database runs inside the same pod as your app and uses that plan's resources, so there is no separate database bill. Launch does not include managed databases.

Do you charge for bandwidth?

No. There are no bandwidth or egress fees on any plan, so a traffic spike does not change your bill. Normal fair-use rules in our terms still apply to traffic that degrades the server for other users.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move a pod to a bigger or smaller plan from the dashboard. The month is split at the change and each part is billed at its own plan rate. Moving down only works if your files still fit in the smaller disk.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If InstaPods is not right for you, ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first payment at support@instapods.com. After that, we do not refund partially used billing periods.

What happens if a payment fails?

We email you and your pods keep running for 7 days while you update your card. If the invoice is still unpaid after that, the pods are paused. Paying the invoice starts them again.

Does the price change by region?

No. Every plan costs the same whether your pod runs in Germany (Nuremberg) or US East (Ashburn, Virginia).
